This is one of the easiest techniques I use to help my clients (and myself!) when feeling overwhelmed. It helps to lower the heart rate, calm the body and mind, and decrease anxiety. It helps with panic attacks as well (which comes in pretty handy when you're in the middle of a pandemic.)
